Is it necessary for someone to be available to accept deliveries?

Ideally, someone should be present to receive the delivery. Palletforce will call about the time and date of your delivery.

If you place your order by 2 pm, we aim to dispatch it on the same working day. Most deliveries arrive the next working day, or within two working days for most UK locations. However, delivery times may increase during busy seasons, particularly in the lead-up to Christmas.

Will I receive tracking information for my firewood delivery?

Yes, tracking information is typically provided. In cases where an alternate courier is used, they also generally offer tracking updates. Occasionally, there may be disruptions with these third-party tracking systems, which are beyond our control.

How are pallet deliveries handled?

Pallet deliveries use tail-lift trucks and pallet jacks to transport the pallets.

Important Restrictions to Be Aware Of

Pallet jacks can only operate on solid, level surfaces such as concrete, tarmac, or monoblock. They cannot be used on uneven surfaces like gravel, grass, mud, or steep slopes. Properties on an incline may need alternative arrangements, as unloading on certain slopes can be hazardous.

What vehicles will be used for delivery?

Our deliveries now use a larger 18-ton vehicle used by Palletforce.

On the day of delivery, the driver will determine whether they can wheel the pallet onto your property or reverse up your drive based on the circumstances.

   Customers have up to 24 hours from the time of delivery to arrange a return if they are not satisfied with the product.

   Refunds are processed promptly, usually within 24 hours of the return request. Most refunds are completed the same evening.
